Executive Success relies on a cycle of thinking and decisive action in key areas that is summarised as P.A.U.S.E. Thinking (TM) with the letters standing for:

• Purpose - the reason the person is in the executive role beyond rewards and prestige
• Ability - the combiniation of attitude, skills, knowledge, and experience to enable them to lead and fulfill the position
• Urgency - a strong work ethic to continually drive for results
• Strategy - a documented business plan that includes the strategy to achieve the requirements of the organisation and its stakeholders
• Execution - the methods and actions that are undertaken to successfully implement the Strategy
