US Army Sgt. Danny O’Neel signed up for the Army on 9/11/2001. He was 19 years old. For the next 7 years he served his country honorably with two back to back deployments to Iraq as a 13F. His last tour to Sadr City, ended with 9 deaths. Unfortunately he’s lost an additional 15 to suicide since.
Danny was almost one of them. In 2012 he almost lost his battle against PTSD. Since that time, he’s committed to helping his fellow service members regain their physical and mental strength. As cofounder of Warfighter Overwatch a non profit that assists veterans who struggle with PTSD and suicidal ideation, he is instrumental in reminding these heroes that they’re not alone.
