It was late one night, and I could not sleep. They say that you should not reach for the phone because your device's blue light will keep you up. Despite knowing this, I grabbed my phone and opened TikTok.
As I mindlessly scrolled through cleaning videos, cute puppies, and people pointing at words on their screen as they danced, my #foryoupage stumbled across a video from this young woman.
When I first went to her website, I was captivated by this quote: “I think cheese and churros deserve their own food groups and La Croix, champagne, and coffee are basically the only liquids I need to survive.”
I have found a kindred spirit.
Callie Richards is a Southern California-based body-positive fashion and travel blogger who helps women discover style and travel that FITS their bodies and their lifestyles so they can live their best, most authentic lives! She test and then shares the products and experiences that respect diversity and inclusiveness so that you can shop and travel with confidence without all the research!
I knew that her infectious positive attitude was something that I wanted to share with my listeners and the world.
My initial instinct was not wrong. I may sound like an old lady saying this, but it is true. I wish that I had as much confidence, wisdom, and self-love as this incredible young woman at her age.
