Independent filmmaker Chanel Dupree joined me to talk about her debut feature film and documentary "YOU THINK YOU GROWN: Dismantling Adultification", in which she and a group of Black women in various fields of studies and vocations including trauma counselling, discuss and examine how the "adultification" of young Black girls creates lasting individual and cultural trauma.
