For Carolyn Talks..., I spoke with filmmaker A.V. Rockwell about her film A THOUSAND AND ONE which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. The film stars singer Teyana Taylor in her debut acting role as Inez, an mother who does any and everything to raise her son in a city and world that does it's best to strip everything away from her.
