The host of the Carolina Outdoors, Bill Bartee, heads into the wonderful world of Birdwatching.  Birding!

During a time when technology is seemingly taking over the world (minus our Podcast listeners of course), people in the US are enjoying being outside with 96 million people engaged in watching birding.  All of this according to the Birding in the United States: A Demographic and Economic Analysis, an Addendum to the 2022 National Survey of Fishing, Hunting, and Wildlife-Associated Recreation.

To learn more Carolina Outdoor host, Bill Bartee from sponsor Jesse Brown's, spoke with Judy Walker. Walker is a longtime local ornithologist that has been a multi-time guest over the years. Her membership in the Mecklenburg Audubon Society has given her a birds eye view of one of the nation's most prolific activities: Birdwatching
