I.               Integrity

  • Concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, and outcomes; honesty, truthfulness, or accuracy of one’s action. Latin- Integer – whole and complete

 Three (3) ways Daniel exhibited Integrity

 1.    Integrity Over Convenience

a.     Daniel 1:8 (NIV)

 b.    Moral Conviction superseded Momentary Conveniences

 2.    Integrity Over Carrots

a.     Idiom - “Dangle a Carrot” is to offer someone something of value in order to persuade them to do something

 b.    When the heart of the person offering the Carrot is Corrupt, the Carrot is nothing more than a Bribe

 3.    Integrity Over Corruption

a.     Daniel 6:4 (NIV)

b.    His Character did not waiver in Public, did not waiver in Private, and it did not waiver under Pressure
