One of the unique features of John's Gospel is the seven "I AM" statements made by Jesus, echoing the divine name revealed to Moses in the Old Testament (Exodus 3:14). Through statements like "I am the bread of life" (John 6:35) and "I am the resurrection and the life" (John 11:25), Jesus reveals His character and mission. These declarations invite us to find in Jesus everything we need for spiritual sustenance, guidance, security, and eternal life.
