Yes it’s a shocking title… and so is the effect on women everywhere when they’re brutally involved in another horrific rape to watch and feel all over again… but this time… performed by your favorite actors on the big screen. I dare say, it’s not just women who are thrown back into that nightmare. And the callous nature of the men are still VERY much alive in my nervous system… buzzing, fearfully charged emotions, lingering several days past the event. I see why the Machine doesn’t warn the public about this movie. They’d lose money. So I’m warning you. There is a huge theme of Medieval rape and attitude that prevails today in the movie The Last Duel. Much as I love all the actors and everything else about this movie from the perfectly sewn hemp bridals for their horses and the glorious costumes and music and settings, I’m still left with this icky emotional mess days later. It’s not right. They should warn people about this movie. Do No Harm! And then I was scheduled to chat with our friend Dr. Leah Johnson about the medical system in general and how we’re trying to change it a bit to better utilize all the knowledge ascertained over the last millennium. Well… we got into a great gab and it turned into another wonderful series. This first episode is Dr. Leah helping me get over the PTSD that movie created. And she gives us a peek at what lies ahead in medicine as soon as The Stupidest War On Drugs is formally dead… as it should be. Listen to Dr. Leah… then let her help YOU with your mixology needs. She’s really good at “holding your hand” through the process of change and gives you hope and confidence that your quality of life is about to be lifted. Don’t wait.
