Exposure Assessment: Daily intake estimates of antibiotic residues were calculated based on reported dietary habits, indicating that specific individuals may be exposed to antibiotic levels exceeding acceptable daily intakes. Health Implications: Chronic exposure to low levels of antibiotics through diet could contribute to the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and disrupt the human microbiome, posing potential health risks.
