Putting Your Value to Work | Eric Dahl

In today’s conversation I speak with Eric Dahl at Gravitate One, a fantastic entrepreneur who shares with us his wonderful story about bruised egos and the peak and the valley of what it means to be an entrepreneur. He tells about the time business really started to pick up and when he started doing really well financially, but then things took a turn for the worse when the 2008 recession hit and everything came out from under him. Eric was uniquely hired for a marketing position with little marketing experience and was launched into his marketing career.

It was just those little nugget sized bits of wisdom that helped me to learn and to feel empowered to continue in on the process of the marketing mix that I was trying to build for that business. I think the easiest way to say is that he was a mentor to me and that mentor made such a profound difference because in a way he was a cheerleader, but also was very strategic in helping me understand how to fulfill my role to the best of my ability.” 18:56
