Hello this is Jonathan Jay - and welcome to episode 123 of the Business Buying Strategies podcast.    This week and next, we’re going to do something that I don’t believe we’ve done before on the podcast. Each month, I meet up online with my MasterMind students, and we spend a couple of hours catching up with the progress that we’ve each made since the last meeting. Over the next two episodes, we’re going to hear from four of those students.    So this week we hear from Robert Ward, from Canada. He originally intended to acquire British food shops in Canada, but having listened to the podcast episode with John Richardson recently, in episode 114, he decided to focus on coffee shops instead.   We also hear from John Corney, who has experience of buying and selling businesses already, and is currently on the acquisition trail for health practitioners.
