In 2016, nurse Zhang Huaxiang vanished in Singapore, triggering a cross-border investigation. Bu Shunhe, emotionally unstable and obsessed, killed her in a jealous rage. He fled to Malaysia but was arrested and sentenced to life in prison. The disturbing case shocked the region deeply.
