In 1991, nine-year-old Lee Hyung-ho was kidnapped in South Korea. The perpetrator demanded ransom and misled the police for weeks, but the boy had been murdered on the first day. The investigation failed, and in 2006, the case reached its statute of limitations. The killer was never found.
