Communicating with your clientele is a big part of running a business. A lot of times, we gym owners fail to effectively communicate with our members. Whether we are communicating good or bad news, we fail to deliver the message in the right way and at the right time.
Gym clients easily get used to a routine, and any change is likely to lead to uncertainty and even some clients getting upset. It doesn't matter if the change is good for them; anything outside of the norm is bound to ruffle some feathers.
To allay their fears around any change, we need to be proactive in our communication. We also need to put the message across in multiple mediums to get to a majority of your members. For instance, email will only get you a 20% open rate, which leaves out a big chunk of people.
Click Play to listen as Tim and Randy give gym owners some tips on how to communicate with their clients, including a communication hack that will help easily reach 90% of your clients.
