There are three types of traffic. One is the traffic you earn from collaborations. This is traffic from organic reach from other people posting your stuff. The second type is paid traffic. This is the traffic you get from ads. The third type is traffic you own. This is the traffic from your email lists or your contact database or your CRM.
Traffic your own is very important for the growth of your business. With this type of traffic, you can run a campaign drive to your offers and generate revenue. You could also nurture, educate, or entertain your list over the long term.
As a gym owner, you are running ads all the time. However, only a small percentage of people are ready to buy your services right now. Rather than keep running ads all the time, you can convert these leads you get from paid traffic into owned traffic and put them in long term nurturing automation and retargeting. At some point, they’ll be ready to buy.
