In this episode, Tim and Randy will talk about how gym owners can make the most out of the current situation with the Coronavirus shutdowns by focusing on the different areas of their businesses that will enable them to come out prepared when the shutdowns and the global pandemic are over. They have been encouraging and helping gym owners set up their online training programs, and they’re going to dive into whether it would be beneficial for the gym owners to keep those online programs running even after they’re open for business again.

Online training was there even before the current pandemic and there’s a type of person that it appeals to, while there’s a type of person who prefers to go to the gym to workout with a coach. But now, gym owners are forced to take their members into their online programs because they’ve been forced to close shop, and the gym members are getting used to it and even learning to enjoy it. So now there is a chance that after gyms are re-opened, some of the members will prefer to stick with the online training, and so gym owners have to consider keeping the online training programs as a permanent service.

Tim advocates for making them a permanent solution and advises that gym owners should consider dedicating a section of their gym facilities to the online training. It requires about 64 square feet and one can just set up permanent cameras and a computer in there with one of the coaches dedicated to conducting the training at certain times of every day. It can be very seamless and it’s a great solution to keep clients training constantly. Stay tuned to find out more about how you go about making your online program a permanent service so you can keep winning during this time and after it’s all over.
