Amos 5:18-20 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
Matthew 24
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
With Coronavirus there is great hope it can be ended with the new vaccine. But even in this the end will not be all of a sudden. And people are already so tired of the problem they have tried to break out and socialize again, breaking through the barrier of isolation. And many will die before they can be vaccinated for they can't stand the separation from the life they had before this problem came upon this earth.
Coronavirus has tried men and so will the great tribulation that is coming upon this world.
I see a strong parallel between the effects of Coronavirus upon humans on this earth and the effects that will happen when the plagues and woes come during the great tribulation.
Life will never be the same as it was before, in either case.
