If we are a Christian and we are around those who say they are Christians but they do not rejoice in the revelations we share that are from God, we are yoking ourselves to a person who is really not of the Spirit of God.
Our relationship with that other person is "one sided", with us doing all the talking while that person sits silently, trying not to show his real feelings on the matter.
This reminds me of a golf joke: Two men were playing golf. On the second tee, one man dropped dead. When the other man returned to the club house, they asked how his game went that day. He replied, "Well, it was a little difficult. Joe dropped dead on the second tee and I had to hit my ball and drag Joe around the rest of the course."
When we yoke ourselves to a person who is like a flat tire, dead, it is a difficult yoke to keep trying to pull them around the course.
