God prepared for my old age without my even knowing it was happening until years later

After I was born again in 1975, I followed scripture.  I never tried to get money, I just focused on scripture, doing that, one verse at a time, and when I followed scripture the by-product was money and things, which came to me automatically.
 
Thus:  The Lord (the scripture, the Word) is my shepherd.
 
I shall not want.  (Psalm 23)
