“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.”-- Confucius

You choose and will choose everything that happens to you for your own growth and development. Doing so restores dignity and adventure to life and transforms even the most seemingly negative circumstances into opportunities for growth.

Acting on the belief that we choose our own realities – and that we do so for good, trustworthy reasons – empowers us because it renames our experience in a way that allows us to receive its gift, whatever that gift might be.

There are many books of affirmations that suggest substituting positive phrases for negative ones in our internal and external dialogue. All of them tell us that our words program our unconscious and that our unconscious affects our actions – conscious and unconscious. We can enter “the other world” of our own internal dialogue and by changing that, change our outer life.

There are five levels of the Magician:

Shadow - Evil Sorcerer or wicked witch, synchronistic negative occurrences, calling negativity to oneself, or turning positive in negative occurrences

Call - Physical or emotional illness, or extrasensory or synchronistic experiences

Spiral One - Experiencing healing or choosing to notice extrasensory or synchronistic experiences

Spiral Two - Grounding inspiration by acting on your visions and making them real; making your dreams come true

Spiral Three - Consciously using the knowledge that everything is connected to everything else; developing mastery of the art of changing physical realities by first changing mental, emotional and spiritual ones

Be aware of someone with whom you have difficulty. In your daydreams, contact your higher or deeper, wiser Self. Then in your imagination, talk to that person’s higher or deeper, wiser Self. Work the issue though on that level. When you return to your ordinary level of consciousness, simply observe whether there is any change in your relationship with that other person the next time you meet him or her.

Begin listening to your internal conversation. If you note yourself making a negative comment about yourself, others, or events, stop and turn the statement into a positive one. For example, if you find yourself thinking, “I'll never attract the kind of person I want to love; I'm short, fat, and not bright,’ turn the statement into, “I'm attractive in mind and body, and I attract too many people equally as attractive,

”Allow yourself to feel the positive emotions that surround the second statement. If at first you are too skeptical to have good feelings about your positive statement, play around with it until you find a form that does make you feel good. For example, if you are not ready to see yourself as attractive yet, you might say, “I eat small amounts of healthy food and I study good books, so I am attracting love from people who also care about health and intelligence.“ Notice how changes in your thinking change your life.
