Most of us would love to think we’re immune to discouragement, but the truth is we’re not.

Discouragement is universal; none of us are exempt. Discouragement doesn’t discriminate. Discouragement doesn’t care if you’re young or old, rich or poor, or what country you were born in. It is no respecter of persons. 

Each of us has experienced times of discouragement. 

Discouragement, if left unchecked, can become like a prison. Discouragement, if left unchecked can make you feel hopeless. In extreme cases, discouragement, left unchecked, can become deadly.

While we all may get discouraged from time to time, we do not have to be held captive. We do not have to let it control our lives.

In this episode we’ll define discouragement and lay out Biblical examples of how to defeat it.
