#107: Chris Powers is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Fort Capital and the host of The FORT podcast. Chris is a serial entrepreneur with more than 18 years of real estate development and investment experience. Since founding Fort Capital, the company has invested over $2.1B in Class B industrial, commercial, multifamily, student housing, and residential and land development projects throughout Texas and the sunbelt.

As host of, The FORT, he has published over 267 episodes to date, where he talks with some of the most fascinating minds in business and discusses important topics in the worlds of real estate, entrepreneurship, and investing. It is hands down one of my favorite podcasts to listen to.

On the show Chris dives into his story, going to Texas Christian University, entrepreneurship, optimizing for freedom, finding mentors, taking risks, faith, forgiveness, building a business and culture, and what matters most.
