Entering college anticipating a career in politics, Coach Hinson's trajectory changed when he got involved in athletics at Oklahoma State University. From that moment he got the bug to coach. In this show, he shares his journey from coaching junior high all the way to his long tenure as an NCAA division one head coach at Missouri State and Southern Illinois. 

Coach Hinson poses some great questions to ask yourself such as: what is the best thing that you do? Do you have a personal mission statement? What do you want to do?  Be the best you can and have fun doing it. Whenever you face adversity, buck up and bow your neck, which is some wisdom he gained from his father growing up.
