Healing is Possible

If you've been through a hard time in your life, like a trauma or hardship, it can be hard to believe that you can heal. But it is possible!

Especially if you're married, trauma can have a big impact on your relationship with your spouse and kids. It can be hard to trust and connect with your partner when you've been through something bad.

But it's important to know that healing is possible. And it's achievable.

In this episode, we talk to Jianny Adamo, a licensed mental health counselor and certified relationship coach. She specializes in helping couples heal from trauma and build stronger marriages.

Jianny shares her own story of overcoming sexual trauma and divorce. She talks about how her faith and God helped her through those difficult times.

She also gives us some practical advice on how to heal from trauma in your marriage.

Here are a few tips:

  • Talk to your partner about your trauma. This can be hard, but it's important to be open and honest with each other.
  • Seek professional help. A therapist can help you process your trauma and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Join a support group. Talking to other people who have been through similar experiences can be very helpful.
  • Be patient. Healing takes time. Don't expect to feel better overnight.

Remember, healing from trauma is possible. And it's achievable.
