The crew tears into Judge Arnold’s ruling, blowing off conflict-of-interest concerns, while Judge Whittamore gets called out for enforcing procedural rules but carrying his own baggage, a past law partnership with Phil Campbell, smack in the middle of Bubba’s legal drama. The conflict stinks, but instead of calling it out head-on, attorney Todd Foster warns that pushing to recuse the judge would be akin to spitting in the court’s face.
