  • In a move that should have happened years ago, America and Panama have agreed to a plan that has America in charge of securing the Panama Canal from end to end, and also gives our military ships priority through the canal.
  • Chris Van Hollen, a Maryland Senator, flew to El Salvador on the taxpayer’s dime to visit with a deported MS-13 gang member the same day the jury verdict for Rachel Morin’s murderer (also an illegal immigrant) was read. Absolutely disgusting.
  • The out of touch governor of Maine, Janet Mills, is defying her own voters and failing to protect women in sports. This is a safety issue, and that’s why it’s so popular with Americans.
  • Good old Demented Joe treated us to some more random ranting packaged as a televised speech. When will there be an investigation into the obvious elder abuse by the end of his last term – or into the crimes he committed before that?
  • Letitia James, the attorney general who made her career on prosecuting Trump in the ridiculous New York lawfare case, is now accused of mortgage fraud. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer political zealot!
  • A Virginia judge has ruled Google is an online advertising monopoly in the third anti-trust hit the company has taken recently.
  • Meanwhile Meta is the latest of the “Magnificent Seven” tech companies to face antitrust allegations. Gosh, I wonder if anticompetitive practices are how they managed to become so dominant?
  • AMC Theatres has become the latest in a line of about 20 major corporations fleeing Delaware. It’s hard to give a pinpoint a single reason for the exodus, but many reports claim it’s because Delaware courts have gone woke.
  • Patti Katter, the host of “Wake Up with Patti Katter,” dropped by the studio this week to talk about her early foray into podcasting to connect military families and how her life was upended when her husband returned from active duty with a Purple Heart and a traumatic brain injury.
  • The firebombing of the Pennsylvania Governor’s residence underscores the serious problem of violence in this country. Polls indicate a significant number of liberals would even support murdering President Trump. I really hope that’s hyperbole.
  • I don’t really care whether we keep Daylight Savings Time or not. I just want to stop messing with the clocks already!
  • The more power Joe Biden got over the years, the more destruction he caused. Looking at the absolute insanity of his end of term pardons, I wonder if Congress could use the 25th Amendment to undo his recent actions retrospectively?
  • A Texas tire retailer learned the hard way that the beneficial owner is the one who has to pay international excise taxes – not necessarily the one who did the importing.
  • Taxpayers should not have to fund federal employees who are working on union business. Here’s a novel incentive package – work, or you get fired. End of discussion.
  • The fascinating Jorge Fernandez stopped by the studio this week to talk about the political intricacies of his adopted home of Puerto Rico, as well as how his companies BitStop and Gold ATM are changing the landscape of cryptocurrency and free banking.
