  • Apple is investing big in AI, including a new 250,000 sq ft Houston-area factory that they say will be open in 2026.
  • While some parts of Trump’s Ukraine approach make sense – the UK and the EU really do need to be the ones to put up soldiers - the whole thing has snowballed into an absolute mess.
  • The Los Angeles fire was the result of decades of poor management and failed administrative policy, not a real natural disaster. FEMA should not give Newsom a cent to fix the mess he made!
  • While Trump and Musk are going about it all wrong, I do believe that up to half of public employees could be cut and things would actually improve. Time to show up to work or get fired!
  • Biden gave billions of taxpayer dollars to brand-new “green nonprofit” Power Forward Communities. It made only $100 in 3 months, but it WAS connected to Georgia Democrat politician Stacey Abrams. Your tax dollars at work, people!
  • The Palestinian authority is by many accounts in control of Israel’s West Bank, but that group is basically just more Hamas by a different name. I don’t see how there can be peace in the Middle East with either of those clowns so close to Israel.
  • Starbucks is laying off 1100 corporate employees globally in order to reduce overhead. THIS is how we should be approaching our bloated and inefficient federal government!
  • JoAnn Fabrics, a staple supplier for 82 years for people who craft, quilt, and sew, is ultimately closing after 2 rounds of Chapter 11 bankruptcy failed to solve their problems.
  • In another indicator of tough financial times ahead, Dennys is closing 150 of its locations – about 10% overall. The locations that stay open will look at reducing hours of operation and menu size to cut costs.
  • Bolthouse Farms is a modest company that makes salad dressing and other food products. I like their dressing because it’s healthier and still tasty – but I like the company because when I DIDN’T like a product, they took care of me.
  • This week Tomohiko Taniguchi - a former advisor to the Japanese Prime Minister- dropped by. He weighed in on Japan’s electoral system, their newly elected PM, and how the international community views America’s politics and presidency.
  • Trump is suing the Pulitzer Prize Board for recognizing the New York Times and Washington Post for their reports that tied his 2016 campaign to Russia.
  • Michael Hingson is blind, which is challenging even today, but in the 1960s was substantially more so. Learn how he transcended the world’s expectations to become a New York Times bestselling author and international lecturer, this week on Saving America!
