  • The State of the Union was very typical of Trump – a good deal of over-speak, but substantially better than anything we’ve had over the past four years with Demented Joe.
  • Zelensky seems to have realized that Trump was rude, but right – he has no cards. Ukraine needs America’s funding to fight back against Putin’s maniacal aggression.
  • You’d think the horrendous recent slaughtering of hostages by Hamas would be enough to stop public displays supporting the terrorists on college campuses. But you’d be wrong.
  • Biden granted Sunnova Energy $3B (the largest federal loan to a solar company in history). They’re now warning they may go bankrupt.
  • SCOTUS narrowly voted to reinstate some US Aid payments Trump blocked; specifically, $2B worth of payments for goods and services already delivered.
  • Several companies, including Apple and Honda, have announced new investments in America as Trump’s business policies begin to take effect. There’s never been a better time to manufacture in America!
  • Taiwan Semiconductors, the largest manufacturer of computer chips in the world, will be investing $100B in order to manufacture chips in the United States instead of overseas. More great news for American businesses!
  • Michael Hingson, a blind businessman, was inside the Twin Towers at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 when the planes crashed into them. His guide dog, Roselle, led him to safety. Listen to the story of their escape, this week on Saving America!
  • The tariff wars are in full swing. It will be interesting to see how all of this is worked out. I for one strongly support reciprocal tariffs.
  • Trump has warned China and Japan not to devalue their currency, which would give their goods an advantage in the international market and could counter his intentions for tariffs.
  •  March means rodeo time for Houston, but this year got off to an interesting start when one of the cows decided he’d quite like to explore downtown.
  • After a year of war, Israel is taking a more proactive approach in their (largely proxy) war with the terrorists, and cleaning house in the Middle East. The whole world is waiting to see what they will do if (when?) they take on Iran directly.
  • If you see a dollar on the ground, don’t pick it up! Apparently, it’s now extremely common to transport drugs in folded money or paper, and even touching some drugs can be very hazardous. So much for finding money being lucky.
  • The media acquitted itself poorly this election cycle – nearly every poll was wrong, and media bias was running rampant. Wouldn’t it be nice to actually see different viewpoints on a newscast again?
  • Idaho Governor Brad Little praised Boise State’s decision to prioritize athlete safety and forfeit a women’s volleyball game because the opposing team included a male player. At least there are some sane politicians left!
  • Zeb Hadley, the CEO of painting company National Coatings, proved himself a hero following Hurricane Helene, flying his personal helicopter on search and rescue missions and saving, among others, an 11-day old baby. Zab Hadley is Saving America.
  • Like so many domestic violence survivors, author A.E. Lee never thought it would happen to her. She stopped in to share how writing her books “One of the Lucky Ones” and “Always” helped her and her children to heal.
  • A 38-year-old truck driver was convicted on manslaughter after causing an accident that killed 5 people because he was distracted watching TikTok videos – a first in Arizona’s history.
  • A rescue dog in Washington state stopped traffic and led a policeman into the woods to her injured 84-year-old owner, saving his life in return.
