Now recognized as a timeless classic, this introduction to the hobbit Bilbo Baggins, the wizard Gandalf, Gollum, and the amazing world of Middle-earth tells the adventures of a reluctant hero and a group of dwarves on a quest to reclaim their home (and their riches) from the terrifying dragon, Smaug.
