As we dive a little deeper into the back half of The Eye of the World, we find ourselves along for a real American road trip style hitchhiking and busking tale with Mat and Rand as they use their underwhelming Gleeman's skills, earning a pittance that is somehow a step up from their previous circumstances: getting used for form labor before being chased out by dogs before being paid.
