Marilyn Swanson- All Things Medicare

Marilyn Swanson is the “Go to” person for Medicare and major health insurance. She is a senior herself and became a licensed life and health insurance agent for Texas in 2010.  

But her story is not traditional. She has had several previous careers including serving as a college professor at the University of Idaho, South Dakota State University, The University of Mississippi and the Baylor College of Medicine. In fact, that position at the Baylor College of Medicine brought her to Texas in 2005. Marilyn became interested in Medicare in 2010, when she became eligible for Medicare and realized she was confused about her personal options. 

She started learning and realized it was important to share her knowledge and experience with others.
