The Influence of Jesus is a series that examines Jesus’s rise in fame and popularity throughout his ministry, pointing out that if we are striving to be like him, our lives will look different than what the culture might expect. Humbling ourselves rather than promoting or exalting ourselves will become our aim. We aren’t raging against having influence. Rather, as we adopt Jesus-centred lives, we’ll come to recognize that true influence is always for the sake of others.
