In Episode 30 we continue our series on The Deep and start and new mini-series within this on… Discernment!  What is discernment and how do we grow in it? What is the gift of discerning of spirits? God gives us all a measure of discernment and this is something we can grow in and TRAIN OUR SENSES in. In Hebrews 4:12 it says “ But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.” One of the ways God trains us in this in through our dreams. I call them discernment dreams. This is more than just discerning if a dream is demonic or from God, this is the God pulls back the veil on a situation in your life and shows you in a dream what is happening beneath the surface.

Margaux shares a pivotal dream she had 8 years ago that taught her about discernment as well as started to give her back her confidence and her voice to reveal what is hidden in darkness.

1. Doubt that it was discernment
2. Thinking we are being judgmental
3. Busyness

Challenge: Go back to recent dreams and ask Holy Spirit to reveal if any are discernment dreams. Start more intentionally paying attention to possible discernment during the day
