Breaking free from manipulation and narcissism,  those are some BIG words! Yes they are and this is a BIG episode.

In this series on discernment we have talked about what it means to discern and the purpose of discernment and today we hear a personal story of FREEDOM through the clarity brought through spiritual DISCERNMENT and the voice of Jesus. No one likes to talk about abuse or manipulation and control- especially in the church- but its darn time that we do. Jesus paid the ULTIMATE price, He OVERCAME our sin and death and was resurrected- so that WE could experience the same freedom. He has given us discernment to identify what is life and death, darkness or the light of the Spirit of God to guide and protect us as well as BREAK US FREE from spiritual bondage… that we may not have even known we were in. And we never want to demonize a person or expose a person… only expose the spiritual expression that deserves no mercy. We believe God is the judge of people, not us. But we ARE called to judge the spiritual, to distinguish good from evil and to expose the plans of darkness and release the light and truth of Jesus.

You may experience a surprising reaction to what is shared. This is ok and is an important part of a bigger conversation for you and God. I encourage you not to shut it down but to get curious and bring it to God in prayer.
