Although I was freelancing for a while before I started my business, I count March 29th, 2016 as the day things started. When I think back to that day and that moment, I can still feel the nerves. It’s a really big deal to start a business!
So today, in this episode, I want to share some (four!) of the biggest lessons I’ve learned over the last 7 years (with an emphasis on mistakes I’ve made in more recent years but if you are interested in past lessons learned, head to episode #60 + episode #111 for past business anniversary reflections!).
I also want to share some of the highlights over the last seven years. There are some things that just stick out in my mind as my “best moments in business” that I haven’t shared publicly on the podcast before. I want to take some time to celebrate those with you in this episode.
Whether you are in your first year or seventh year (or you have even been in business for longer than I have!), I hope you love reflecting back over the last seven years in business with me. I’m overjoyed to be able to share with you!

Over my 9 years of business, I have learned some financial skills the hard way and a few years ago, I developed an an 8 step process I go through at the end of each month.
