We continue our conversation with graphic details on animal cruelty and damaging effects it causes on the land, animals, and people. The conversation expands upon water conservation with indigenous connection to the land and its vitality to small communities, the culture of information suppression of greenwashing, and the support required for small-scale farmers against larger corporate farms. Looking back on the documentary “Milked”, Chris explains how he would have liked to further cover medical science and inform us about a fertilizer mineral known as ‘Blood phosphate’ that is fueling a war in Western Sahara due to the dairy industry. In this interview, Chris encourages us to be open to learning, to self-reflect on things that upsets us, read lots of books, arm ourselves with information, learn from other non-violent passive movements, be community oriented and value social aspects with your activism.  Finally, we learn that what pushes Chris is his moral obligation to mother earth, as he says “we are each other” as we act through our values over outcomes.
