The daily needs of our unique children can take up A LOT of space in our lives and the siblings of those children experience that in all kinds of ways. Their lives are just as altered as ours are by their siblings' heightened needs, but they don’t always get permission to express that. What can we actively do, as parents, to help them?
Today’s episode is another great conversation with Family Therapist, Chris Ioimo, about what the siblings need in a disability family.
Chris is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and is the Clinical Director/Supervisor of Journeys Counseling South Bay and Pastoral Coach with Vibrant Living Coaching. Chris is also a regular speaker at churches, community groups, seminars, small groups, and retreats. He has also been a recurring guest on YouTube shows and podcasts focused on mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Chris has been an adjunct professor in the psychology department at a Christian University since 2008 and has been involved in multiple levels of ministry.
