Part of the Brave Being culture is stepping into our personal empowerment and being able to communicate our feelings in relationship. This skill could be considered assertiveness. Our ability to be assertiveness is necessary in reflecting our emotional experience, internal world and experiences in relationship. Often we take a passive approach because we fear how other will respond or react. In doing this we miss out on a fundamental opportunity to not only practice assertiveness but also CONNECTEDNESS.
In this episode I talk about how to be more assertive (not to be confused with aggressive) and how to truly reflect our emotional experience in relationship to feel seen, heard, and understood. Being more assertiveness drive our personal empowerment, deepens our connection to self and ultimately can enhance our interpersonal relationships.
