Human Trafficking: Out of the Shadows

Reporter Dawn Megli spotlights the prevalence of human trafficking in Ventura County and efforts being made to rescue and support its victims. Interviews include Shannon Sergey, CEO of Forever Found, a Simi Valley-based nonprofit that seeks to prevent, rescue and restore child trafficking victims; and Stacy DeWitt, founder of James Storehouse, a Newbury Park-based nonprofit that aids foster children as they transition into adulthood.
