We're often reminded, especially at Christmastime, that God came near through the birth of Jesus. Jesus is given many names in the Bible: Wonderful Counsellor, Prince of Peace, and others. But there's one name that specifically focuses on the closeness of God to us through the person of Jesus, and Paul will be exploring that name, and what it means for our lives, in a sermon titled "Immanuel."
