The Roberts, a normal, middle income American family inherit a silver tea set from distant relative in England. The tea set is accompanied by it's caretaker, Higgins, their new butler. Normal family situations are punctuated by Higgin's smart aleck comments and his general disdain for otrt things American and all things common.
