Episode Summary:

Many of us, including myself, struggle with mental health challenges. Stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, difficulty concentrating, overwhelm, burnout, and other issues can have a negative impact on our ability to realize our full potential both personally and professionally.

In this week’s episode, my guest Melissa Franklin, business and leadership coach, shares how she went from being an unhealthy, in-debt, single mom, with bipolar disorder and ADHD, to becoming a successful entrepreneur, educator, non-profit business owner, and Ph.D. student.

Her story shows us that balanced health and a thriving life are ABSOLUTELY achievable, regardless of the hurdles you have to overcome. But she stresses that you cannot do it alone. Instead, you must find the right TEAM of people to support you through a combination of nutrition, physical fitness, and medical and mental health.

Melissa shares with us how to:

  1. Cope with and overcome mental health challenges
  2. Take charge of your mental and emotional wellness
  3. Create structure and set goals in order to move forward
  4. Become organized and more effective

If you’re stressed out, burned out, or just plain struggling, you do not want to miss this episode!
