Can you believe that we’re on episode 22?! 🎉 I’m still wrapping my head around it. 

In this week’s episode, I’m diving into the concept of how to get to your ideal weight through Intuitive Eating. That is, trusting your body’s cues to tell you exactly what to eat, when to eat, and how much to eat. 

Our bodies are the most super-intelligent beings ever created. All we really have to do to lose weight is tap into our natural internal wisdom.

The problem is, we’ve ignored and tuned out our body’s messages about what it needs (think, working through lunch and ignoring hunger because we’re “in the zone”) for so long, that we’ve become disconnected and numb.

Plus, diet culture, with its deprivation, hunger, and restriction methods, further distances us from our bodies and reinforces the restrict/binge weight cycling pattern.

In this episode, I’ll explain exactly how to get back in tune with yourself so you can lose weight naturally and with ease.

Her health journey began when her six-year-old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. So she threw herself into studying and learning all about nutrition. And in the process, she made some big changes herself for the sake of her kids, her family, and herself. 

Then, in 2019 she was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. She realized her life was centered on caring for everyone else (work, kids, family, etc.). Everyone except herself. She realized that stress, lack of self-care, and not listening to her body’s messages was literally making her sick.

Throughout her cancer treatments, she focused on her own self-care. And it paid off! Today she is completely cancer-free, and not only does she have her health and energy back, but she also has more strength, joy, and confidence than she ever imagined.

She draws on her experiences with her own health and self-discovery to teach you how to break through unhealthy patterns and put you on the path to having the truly healthy, balanced life you’ve always wanted.
