The Yankees are having their first Old Timer’s Day since 2019 and they are celebrating the 2000 World Series team. Derek Jeter will not be participating, saying he doesn’t want the fans to see him hit again at this age. That’s fine, but he should at least be there as he was the Captain. Boomer thinks it’s a little bit insulting. Boomer said it feels ‘elitist to me’.
