Val has been an avid reader since she began at age three. She tried writing as a child, but her perfectionism stopped her from exploring it.  As she grew up, life took a different turn for her career wise and it wasn't until an economic crash in Ireland left Val unemployed that she returned to writing.

Now an international bestselling author, Val currently has four titles available in her Aoife Walsh book collection: Girl Targeted, Only Lies Remain, The Silent Speak, and Where Loyalties Lie. Her fifth Aoife Walsh book, Dying To Tell, is set to be released Feb. 28th.
