Managing poor quality content... freeloaders... used to be a best practice. Today, it's a necessity.
In this episode we talk about why that's the case, and I break down my 4-step process for removing "crappy" content from Google's vision.
1. CRITIQUE - Determine what in your current content needs to be managed
2. CRITERIA - How will you define "poor" quality? What about support posts?
3. CONSIDER - What are your options for handling this poor quality content? (Tip - delete is not the only answer)
4. CLEAN-UP PLAN - Once and done is not enough.. you've got to plan a regular culling routine
