2. Talk to your significant other, partner, or dad. We all have different perspectives on certain situations and how they should be handled, and two minds are better than one in this situation. Being able to talk about a situation and brainstorm how to handle it is a must-do.3. Set aside special 1on 1 times that you can talk openly with your child about the situation.
By being silent and sometimes sitting in awkward silence, it also gives the opportunity to build trust with your child and know that what they say matters.
