In this episode I sit down with Wendell Smith, Cosplayer, Veteran, and Vice President of HBCU Con. Join us as we talk about what it is likeCosplaying while black and being a geek in the 70's and 80's; as well as digging into his geek story and discovering what it takes to make a black geek serve his country. This interview gets real about certain topics with in the black geek community such as race and bring raised in the black community itself. We give some insight into what its like being a geek in the black community before it was "ok" to be a black geek.
