Victory in life doesn't begin with talent or support—it begins with a personal decision to stay committed through hardship, hold yourself accountable, and pay the price others avoid.
Life will offer setbacks causing frustration. If you go into something thinking you will lose, don’t go. To build self-esteem, you must first have self-achievement. Some get it backwards—it works in reverse.
Jesus Christ had setbacks and frustration. Did He quit?
He was betrayed, mocked, falsely accused, beaten, and crucified. That’s not just a rough patch—that’s the ultimate example of staying committed when everything screams walk away. He sweated blood in Gethsemane. He didn’t run. He fulfilled the mission.
Nothing worth having comes easy. If you're not willing to study more, work harder, ask questions, and keep going—then you'll find a thousand good excuses to quit. Some people find comfort in giving up. It’s easier to blame others than confront your own hesitation.
If sticking your head between your legs and pointing fingers makes it feel better, then sure—stay there. But understand this: the cost of commitment is discomfort, sacrifice, and pressure. And there is no discount.
Let’s be clear: if you quit, you lose.
